C'est La Rentree!

C'est la RENTRÉE! All the desserts are back in the vitrines to tempt us again. No rest for the weary.
Lots of chocolatey gateaux for Fall.
Fall fruit tartes are taking front row in the windows.
The train stations are full of returning vacationers with their perfect tans.
So sad they've had to give up all that R and R...
And face up to their ABCs. School starts today!
Though it does make you wish you were a kid again.
The clothes are just gorge for students.
Plenty of appealing cashmeres in the windows too...
But I am not ready for boots yet I can tell you that!
What about all the delish ice creams of Summer?
Isn't this the saddest sight?
At least the bistro dogs are back in town.
Speaking of which, does your pet ask to go to Paris?
We're still painting original watercolors of pets in Paris.
Do contact us (Bear and myself) for more information.
BONNE RENTREE!

  1. Aww, Parisian kiddy chic does make me wish I could go back to little-school. I'm not ready for boots either! We're having beautiful warm weather in London :))

  2. I'm not ready for summer to end either; however, I do love fall fashion, especially boots.
We leave for Paris on Friday morning... I hope the CDG won't be as busy as the train stations.

  6. The rentrée for me is all about the new stationary in Gibert Jeune! Who has made new sketch books? Are they making those Rolla-Bind notebooks again? Are Moleskine watercolor journals on sale? What's new at Rougié et Pli?, Géante?, Boesner?

  11. What? They close the ice cream stands? Oh, you won't see ours close here till at least October!

I always have trouble with rentree.

But I don't think I would if I had a little treat to boost my energy!

  12. Carol, thank you for letting us see the various aspects of la Rentree. Each seems quite stylish, and I particularly thank you for the station overview.

Thank you also for reminding me to go for just one more summer 2013 gelato, while out temps are still high...have you seen the humidity levels on the US Open courts?

Your watercolor is a gem! xo
